Saving Time

This program saves time for students and parents. The six hours of student driving will be at the convenience of each individual student. Students will be picked up and dropped off at home, school, or work. The ten hours of classroom instruction is scheduled during various breaks in the school year.

Owner & driving instructor - Mike Tucker

Mike Tucker has 28 years experience teaching and coaching high school students; twenty-five of those years have been in the Deer Creek community. He was selected 2006 teacher of the year at Deer Creek High School. His diverse teaching/coaching style appeals to all learners. He has taught subjects to students in the Pre-AP program as well as students with special learning needs. In addition, he helped initiate the first driver's education program at Guthrie Job Corps and has taught defensive driving courses at University of Central Oklahoma.

My experiences through years of coaching have helped me develop a necessary balance for motivating students.
Finding the best avenue for student learning will help to initiate motivation allowing for optimum results. My goal is to incorporate these techniques in a driver's education curriculum.

Stan Dowers - has a current teaching certificate and has taught in the Edmond School District for many years. He also has a certification in safety from UCO and is certified through Oklahoma Department of Public Safety

Driving Instructor - Rick Nordyke

Rick Nordike - is currently teaching at Edmond North High School. He has a degree in Public Safety from UCO and is certified through Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. Rick has also coached at Edmond North H.S. for many years.

Randy Smith

Randy Smith has 37 years experience as a coach and a teacher in the Putnam City School District. Randy not only taught in the classroom, he also coached many different sports in his career. He taught driver education for all of his 37 year in his teaching career. Randy has a college certification to teach driver education and is certified by the Department of Public Safety.

Cindy Nordyke is a graduate of OSU with a degree in education and is a certified teacher. Cindy has taught and coached in Edmond Public Schools. She is certified from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety as a driving instructor.

Cindy Nordyke is a certified teacher by OK Department of Education and currently has a her teaching certification. She taught in Edmond Public Schools for 16 years. She is certified by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety as a driving instructor.
