What?

Driving education is two classroom sessions (10am-3pm) and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.

When?

Students can take driving education anytime after turning 15 years old. The ideal time is 15 and 3-4 months to ensure he or she can get the permit at the earliest eligibility (15 1/2).
*Keep in mind the appointment with Service Oklahoma to get the permit is booked 60 days out.

Where?

Classes will be held at the Edmond or Piedmont office. Students will need a ride to and from class but the behind the wheel driving is pick-up and drop-off at home, school, or church.
*All students living over 10 miles from either office have an additional $80 charge for the 6 hours of driving if chosen to pick-up and drop-off (Kingfisher, Okarche, Guthrie).
